Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate financial transactions, calculations, workflows, and data integrity across systems.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to test strategy, automation framework enhancements, and QA best practices.
- Ensure compliance with financial industry standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Proven experience testing financial, banking, insurance, fintech, payment, or lending applications.
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Katalon, or similar.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience in API testing and automation.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
