DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy and Business Growth
§ Develop and implement the company’s overall sales strategy for solar energy solutions in the commercial and industrial sectors.§ Set annual and quarterly sales targets aligned with company revenue goals.
§ Identify new market opportunities, industry segments, and strategic partnerships to expand the company’s market presence.
§ Develop pricing strategies, sales policies, and market positioning in coordination with senior management/MANCOM.
§ Lead the planning and execution of business development initiatives.
Sales Leadership and Team Management§ Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team including Sales Supervisors and Sales Officers.
§ Establish performance targets, KPIs, and incentive structures for the sales team.
§ Conduct regular performance reviews and provide strategic direction to improve team productivity.
§ Approve major proposals, commercial terms, and high-value contracts.
§ Support the recruitment, training, and development of sales personnel.
Key Account and Strategic Client Management§ Manage and develop relationships with key strategic clients, partners, and large commercial accounts.
§ Lead negotiations for major contracts and long-term agreements.
§ Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.
§ Represent the company in high-level meetings, industry events, and strategic negotiations.
Sales Planning and Performance Monitoring§ Monitor overall sales performance, revenue generation, and pipeline health.
§ Review sales forecasts, market intelligence, and competitive analysis.
§ Provide regular reports and insights to senior management regarding sales performance and market trends.
§ Implement improvements in sales processes, tools, and reporting systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
§ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field;
Licensed Electrical Engineer, MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
§ Experience:
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in the solar energy, renewable energy, electrical, engineering, or related industrial sectors is highly
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
§ Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing sales
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and large commercial clients.
- Strong strategic thinking, market analysis, and business development capabilities.
- Proficient in sales forecasting, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and make data-driven decisions.
