Shift Engineer - Cebu

Our group of companies is in need of a SHIFT ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• The Shift Engineer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the efficient operation of various mechanical and electrical systems within a facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and functionality during their assigned shift. This role plays a crucial part in addressing and resolving maintenance and technical issues as they arise.
• System Monitoring: Continuously monitor and assess the performance of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical distribution, and more.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, lubrication, and filter changes, to ensure the systems operate optimally. Create and follow maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to system failures, breakdowns, or other emergencies, diagnosing issues and taking corrective action to minimize disruptions.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
• 1-2 years experience in high-rise construction
• Willing to work on shifting schedule
• With Safety Officer Training is a plus
• Basic knowledge of aircon, fire protection, plumbing and electrical
