Community Based Mental Health Program Head

Greetings! The Philippine Mental Health Association is looking for a full-time Community Based Mental Health Program Head.

In coordination with the Program Manager, the CBMHP Program Head leads the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and expansion of PMHA’s Community-Based Mental Health Program. The role focuses on promoting mental health awareness at the community level and provides direction and supervision to Program Officers who implement program activities.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Community.
• Development or any related course, preferably with post graduate studies in the same fields.
• Has experience in mental health advocacy work at the community level for a minimum of two years.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, organization and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in oral and written communications including public speaking.
• Creative and able to develop innovative approaches to further advance mental health advocacy at the community level.
• Able to multitask and a good sense of judgment in prioritizing important deliverables at any given time.
• Highly motivated, energetic, patient and emotionally mature.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
• Open to travel to our PMHAI Chapters for monitoring and supervision of Chapter activities.
• Is willing to work on weekends at least twice a month and beyond office hours during the conduct of periodic special activities.
