Key Responsibilities
- Legal Documentation & Contract Management
- Draft, review, proofread, and manage contracts, agreements, and legal documents (e.g., NDAs, MOAs, lease agreements, service contracts).
- Maintain a centralized contract database and ensure timely renewal, monitoring, and compliance with terms.
- Assist in the preparation of legal correspondence, notices, and memoranda.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and government requirements across all business units.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure adherence to legal and compliance standards.
- Legal Research & Advisory Support
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, rulings, and regulations affecting company operations.
- Summarize findings and provide recommendations to Legal Counsel and management.
- Litigation & Case Management Support
- Assist in handling legal cases by organizing documents, evidence, and case files.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, courts, and government agencies.
- Monitor case status, deadlines, and compliance with legal procedures.
- Corporate Governance & Records Management
- Maintain corporate records, board resolutions, minutes of meetings, and legal filings.
- Assist in the preparation of board materials and documentation for corporate meetings.
- Ensure proper safekeeping and confidentiality of legal documents.
- Interdepartmental Coordination
- Provide legal support to various departments (Finance, HR, Operations, Procurement, etc.).
- Review internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Act as a liaison between legal and operational teams.
- Administrative Support
- Manage legal calendars, deadlines, and document tracking systems.
- Organize and maintain filing systems (physical and digital).
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Legal Counsel or management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Law, or related field
- At least 1–3 years of experience in a legal or paralegal role (experience in multi-industry or corporate setting is an advantage)
- Familiarity with Philippine laws, corporate compliance, and regulatory processes
- Experience in contract drafting and document management
