Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Design Engineer (MDE) to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant experience in mechanical design, drafting, or engineering support. The role involves assisting in design development, preparing technical drawings, and coordinating with different departments to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related course
- With at least 1 year relevant experience in mechanical design, drafting, or engineering support
- Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, or other design software
- Knowledge in Revit and SolidWorks is an additional advantage.
- Can read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willing to work on-site
- Fresh board passers with strong technical skills may also apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise mechanical drawings and design layouts
- Assist senior engineers in project design and development
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and project teams
- Ensure accuracy of technical drawings and project specifications
- Prepare documentation and reports related to design activities
- Conduct site visits or inspections when necessary
- Support project implementation and engineering activities
