Here are some of the responsibilities of the Importation Staff:
- Issues purchase orders, sends them to suppliers, and files/organizes them once they are fulfilled.
- Follows up on the dispatch/delivery schedule of pending purchase orders.
- Inputs purchase order data into the system.
- Photocopies purchase orders to serve as receiving copies and for documentation purposes.
- Summarizes and records purchase order details on index cards.
- Facilitates remittance/payment requests for purchase orders under the following terms:
- TT (Telegraphic Transfer) advance,
- Against copy of documents,
- Against faxed shipping documents.
- Photocopies required documents for the Bureau of Customs (e.g., Purchase Contract/Order, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Proforma Invoice, etc.).
- Prepares a monthly summary of import entries.
- Organizes import entries by consignee for BOC documentation.
Submits scanned copies of import entries to the designated companies.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelors degree (any course)
- with or without experience
