Job Description
We're currently looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. This is a hybrid role based in Ortigas (moving to Makati by end of 2025), with onsite work required three times a week including weekends. This position offers a competitive salary of 80,000 120,000/month, depending on experience.

About the Role
As a Senior Systems Administrator, you'll manage and maintain both on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure to ensure reliable system performance and data security. You'll be responsible for provisioning, configuring, and optimizing Linux servers, implementing backup solutions (Veeam), and managing AWS cloud environments.The role requires proactive monitoring, automation, troubleshooting, and enforcement of security best practices across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provision, configure, and optimize Linux servers, network systems, and cloud infrastructure
Design and manage AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, Backup, CloudWatch
Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and cost-efficient scalable cloud solutions
Perform patches, system upgrades, and tuning
Administer NGINX/Apache web servers
Set up and maintain monitoring systems (Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus)
Enforce security standards across all systems (on-prem and cloud)
Manage backup and replication for on-prem servers using Veeam
Automate tasks with BASH scripting
Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and security issues
Maintain detailed documentation and provide technical guidance for system upgrades
Required Skills & Qualifications
At least 7 years of system administration experience
Minimum 2 years of hands-on AWS experience
Strong experience with Linux server environments
Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, Backup, IAM)
Working knowledge of monitoring tools: Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus
Good understanding of networking concepts (VPNs, firewalls, DNS)
Familiar with system security best practices
Skilled in scripting/automation (BASH preferred)
Experienced in NAS, SAN, RAID configuration
Knowledge of Veeam for backup/replication
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field
Certifications in Linux, AWS, or related technologies are a plus
