Physical Therapist

About the role

As a Physical Therapist, you will be instrumental in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall quality of life through evidence-based rehabilitation programmes.

1. Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and evaluations to determine patients' rehabilitation needs and establish individualised treatment plans
2. Develop and implement effective therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques and modalities to promote patient recovery and functional improvement
3. Monitor and document patient progress throughout their rehabilitation journey, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
4. Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, postural awareness, and self-management strategies to support their long-term wellness and prevent re-injury
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
6. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare standards and regulatory requirements
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous enhancement of rehabilitation services
8. Provide compassionate patient care whilst maintaining professional boundaries and upholding ethical standards

1. A valid Philippine Physical Therapist Licensure with current registration and good standing with the regulatory body
2. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
3. Proven clinical experience in physiotherapy, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting
4. Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation principles and treatment approaches
5. Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and modalities relevant to physical therapy practice
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
8. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple patient cases
9. Commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with evidence-based practice
10. Preferably, certification or training in specialised areas such as sports physiotherapy, neuromuscular rehabilitation, or manual therapy techniques
