About the Role:
The Strategic Reporting Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for driving reporting initiatives, ensuring cross-departmental data alignment, and leading the company's data team. This role is critical to the organization’s data-driven decision-making framework and requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented leader with a proven track record of managing data teams and delivering impactful insights to executive stakeholders.
The ideal candidate demonstrates advanced proficiency in Power BI (2019 or newer), Excel (advanced formulas and modeling), SQL (intermediate to advanced querying), and a deep understanding of operational metrics, performance analytics, and reporting automation.Strong communication skills, executive presence, and attention to inconsistencies in data reporting systems are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Reporting & Strategic Analysis- Deliver high-level reports for the Director of Global Operations and executive leadership on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences
- Provide real-time insights and performance updates to support business decisions
- Present clear, actionable intelligence using Power BI and Excel
- Design executive dashboards aligned with KPIs and strategic goals
- Act as liaison between the Data Team and key agency teams (Sales Operations, Leads, Strategic)
- Lead twice-weekly data alignment meetings with the strategic team ● Analyze campaign performance metrics and recommend data-driven action plans
- Standardize reporting frameworks across departments
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards tracking key performance indicators
- Oversee all scheduled and ad-hoc reporting aligned with business priorities
- Implement automated data refresh and distribution systems
- Conduct regular audits to ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity
- Resolve errors or data gaps in coordination with relevant teams
- Maintain documentation and archival of reports
- Define and enforce data quality standards
Qualifications:
Experience- Minimum 5 years in a data leadership or managerial role
- Proven collaboration with executive stakeholders
- Advanced skills in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard design)
- Intermediate to advanced SQL querying
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, Power Query)
- Experience in operational reporting and performance analytics
- Background in implementing data governance
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies
- Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex data
- Highly organized with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Professional, assertive, and feedback-oriented
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with remote team tools (Slack, Asana, etc.)
- Experience in high-growth or dynamic organizations
- Knowledge in people analytics, sales reporting, or cross-functional data projects
- Awareness of data privacy and compliance
- Bonus: Python, R, or other scripting language experience
Additional Notes:
- Must have experience leading a data team of 5+ members
- Must convert insights into actionable business recommendations ● Must proactively identify reporting gaps or misalignments
- Must be proficient in Power BI visualization
- Requires a good working laptop and stable internet
