Infra Tech Support Practitioner
The FinOps Technical Architect / Manager is a senior strategic and technical role within Accenture's Cloud & FinOps practice. This individual leads the design, implementation, and optimisation of cloud financial management frameworks across complex, multi-cloud client environments — spanning AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform — ensuring cloud spend transparency, accountability, and continuous cost optimisation at scale.
Beyond core FinOps architecture and management responsibilities, this role is a key Automation Driver, championing the integration of intelligent automation, AI/ML analytics, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices into FinOps operations to modernise cost governance, reduce manual effort, and deliver real-time, data-driven financial visibility across the client's cloud estate.

Required
- Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud technology roles, with at least 4 years focused on FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial architecture
- Deep expertise across two or more major cloud platforms: AWS (Cost Explorer, CUR, Savings Plans, Trusted Advisor), Microsoft Azure (Cost Management, Reservations, Azure Advisor), or Google Cloud Platform (Billing, Recommender, Committed Use Discounts)
- Proven track record designing and implementing FinOps frameworks, chargeback/showback models, and cloud unit economics reporting for large enterprise clients
- Hands-on experience with leading FinOps platforms: Apptio Cloudability, CloudHealth by VMware, Spot.io, Kubecost, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience architecting cloud billing data pipelines and cost analytics solutions integrating native cloud billing exports with BI platforms
- Strong scripting and automation skills: Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent for FinOps data processing, cost automation, and API integrations
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep) and Policy-as-Code frameworks for automated cloud governance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting cloud financial insights to C-suite, CFO, and engineering leadership
- Experience in a Big 4 consulting firm, global systems integrator, or managed cloud services provider in a FinOps or cloud economics advisory capacity
- Familiarity with Kubernetes cost allocation (Kubecost, OpenCost), container optimisation, and serverless cost management patterns
- Experience with AI/ML platforms for predictive cost forecasting: AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, or open-source frameworks (scikit-learn, Prophet)
- Knowledge of ITIL service management principles and their application to FinOps service design and cloud governance operating models
- Experience with cloud sustainability reporting, carbon footprint tracking, and Green FinOps practices aligned to Accenture's sustainability commitments
