Mid Business Analyst – Finance Applications (Business Intelligence)
We’re looking for a mid-level Business Analyst to join the team and support our finance applications, mainly around sales data and monthly reporting activities.
This is a mid-level role, so we expect someone who can work autonomously, take ownership of topics from end to end, and drive improvements. You should be comfortable working with data, structured in your approach, and able to bridge business needs with technical solutions.
You’ll be working between business users (mainly finance/sales) and IT, making sure data is correct, issues are resolved, processes run smoothly, and reporting outputs are reliable.
What you’ll be doing- Acting as a point of contact for business users on financial and reporting tools, and resolving issues end to end
- Owning monthly processes linked to sales (checking data, following up on issues, making sure everything ties out)
- Maintaining and improving master data (customers, products, pricing, etc.) and related governance
- Investigating data inconsistencies, identifying root causes, and driving fixes
- Partnering with IT and data teams to scope and deliver changes or deeper investigations
- Supporting and enhancing reporting, ensuring numbers are consistent across systems
- Gathering requirements, writing functional specs, and documenting processes so they’re easier to maintain over time
- Leading UAT and coordinating testing when changes are made to systems
- 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role supporting finance / sales applications
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable handling and analysing data
- BI knowledge is required — solid experience with reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and BI tools (e.g. SAP BO, SAP BW, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Detail-oriented and structured, with the ability to manage multiple topics in parallel
- Good understanding of finance or sales processes
- Strong communication skills — you’ll interact with business, IT, and data teams
- Reliable, autonomous, and able to take ownership of topics from start to finish
- Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms
- SQL or data querying experience
- Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and master data management
Why this role is interesting
This role gives you real ownership across business processes, data flows, and systems. You'll work on topics that directly impact finance and sales reporting, with room to grow into more senior functional, data, or BI positions.
