Bright Star Industries, Inc.is looking for Accounting Staff ( Audit for Retail Stores )

Job Summary:

The Accounting Audit Staff is responsible for conducting internal audits across retail branches to ensure the accuracy of financial records, adherence to company policies, and identification of discrepancies. The role ensures that store-level transactions are properly recorded, documented, and compliant with internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular audits of retail stores’ sales, inventory, and cash handling processes.
• Check daily sales reports, deposit slips, and POS system data for accuracy.
• Monitor and verify compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Coordinate with branch staff to gather documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing audit findings reports and recommend process improvements.
• Conduct surprise cash counts and validate inventory reports.
• Support year-end audits and other external audit activities.
• Maintain proper documentation of all audit findings and work papers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or any related course
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, auditing, or retail operations preferred
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity
• Willing to travel to retail branches in IT Park / Ayala as needed
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems
• Good communication and analytical skills
