Your Role:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:
- Deliver quality products consistently according to agreed business value and the team's definition of done.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Development teams to define, refine, and validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate proactively in Scrum ceremonies to promote defect prevention and maximize value before test execution.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute testing activities to ensure a shippable product at the end of every sprint.
- Perform a combination of scripted and exploratory testing while evaluating and reporting product quality, risks, and progress.
- Mentor team members, champion quality assurance best practices, and drive continuous improvements across testing processes and methodologies.
- Contribute to regression, performance, security, and automation testing initiatives while advocating for quality across the entire development lifecycle.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Strong mastery of quality assurance methodologies, testing processes, and test design techniques.
- Proven experience working within Agile Software Development environments and applying Agile principles and values.
- Hands-on experience with agile testing techniques including exploratory testing and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Exposure to test automation and a strong understanding of automation concepts and frameworks.
- Practical knowledge of relational databases and the ability to write and execute SQL queries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience within QA teams.
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification in Software Testing and/or Agile certifications (e.g., iSQI CAE, ISTQB CTFL-AT).
- Active involvement in the quality assurance or software testing community and a commitment to continuous learning.
