Job Title: Field Sales Representative

Location: Manila, Philippines / Valenzuela, Philippines

Key Responsibilities:

Territory Management:

  • Strategically plan and organize daily routes and schedules to maximize coverage of the assigned sales territory.
  • Prioritize visits to high-potential areas and clients, ensuring that all regions within the territory are adequately covered over time.
  • Stay informed about the geographic layout of the territory, including key commercial zones, competitor locations, and potential new business areas.

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and target potential customers such as pet stores, veterinary clinics, grooming salons, and other businesses that might benefit from the company’s products.
  • Conduct research on prospective clients before visits to tailor sales pitches and presentations effectively.
  • Build a database of leads and regularly update it based on new information gathered during field visits.

Client Visits and Relationship Building:

  • Conduct door-to-door visits to introduce the company’s products and services to potential clients, establishing initial contact and laying the groundwork for future sales.
  • Regularly visit existing clients to maintain strong relationships, understand their needs, and ensure they are satisfied with the products and services provided.
  • Act as the face of the company, delivering a professional and positive first impression that reflects the company’s values and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Sales Presentations and Product Demonstrations:

  • Carry product samples and promotional materials to demonstrate the features and benefits of the company’s products during client visits.
  • Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and interests of each client, showcasing how the products can solve their problems or enhance their offerings.
  • Provide detailed explanations of product usage, pricing, and availability, and answer any questions the clients may have.

Order Collection and Processing:

  • Collect orders from clients during visits, ensuring that all details are accurately captured and processed.
  • Liaise with the company’s logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of orders, resolving any issues that may arise during the order fulfillment process.
  • Follow up with clients post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues that may have occurred.

Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:

  • Observe and report on competitors’ activities in the field, including pricing strategies, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Gather feedback from clients on the market’s needs, trends, and preferences, and relay this information to the marketing and product development teams.
  • Identify opportunities for new product introductions or improvements to existing products based on insights gained during client visits.

Customer Support and Issue Resolution:

  • Provide on-the-spot solutions to clients’ questions or concerns about products, delivery times, or order discrepancies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients within the territory, ensuring that any issues are resolved quickly and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the customer service team to handle more complex issues that require additional support.

Event Participation and Community Engagement:

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings within the territory.
  • Network with industry professionals and potential clients at these events to promote the company’s brand and generate new leads.
  • Organize and participate in promotional events such as product demonstrations, workshops, and customer appreciation days at client locations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales activities, and market observations in the company’s CRM system.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing field activities, sales performance, and market insights to the Manager.
  • Keep track of expenses related to fieldwork and submit timely expense reports in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Previous experience in sales is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of the pet industry is an advantage.
  • Willingness to be assigned in Manila and travel when necessary.
  • Willingness to do field work around or outside Manila when necessary.
