About the role
We are seeking for passionate and skilled Homebased Online English Teachers (ESL Teachers) who would like to join our growing and dynamic community and dedicated to teaching English Language to global students. As an Online ESL teacher with English Fact, s/he will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students in a virtual environment.S/he is an experienced educator with a knack for making language learning fun and accessible.
What you'll be doing- Delivers online ESL lessons to non-native speakers
- Uses interactive tools and technology to enhance the online learning experience
- Assesses student progress and provides regular feedback to students and parents
- Maintains an open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues
- Participates in ongoing professional development and training sessions
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the improvement of ESL teaching programmes
- Adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and accommodate different proficiency levels
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related discipline
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent ESL teaching certification is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language, preferably in an online or virtual learning environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in using learning management systems and video conferencing platforms for online instruction
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to effectively manage multiple students and classes
- Ability to create engaging, interactive and student-centred lesson content
- Patient, empathetic approach to teaching with the ability to motivate and support diverse learners
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate home workspace for conducting online classes
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to evolving educational needs and technological changes
- Experience working with tertiary-level students or adult learners is preferred
Technical Requirements :
- At least 10mbps wired internet connection
- Laptop/desktop core i5/i7 or AMD equivalent
- High-definition webcam with Noise-cancelling headset
Schedule : Mondays to Saturdays (10:00 to 19:00 PHT or 19:00 to 24:00 PHT)
