Senior Java Developer

Job Description

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Design a plan for stability, scalability, performance optimization, and ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience

Skills Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in the following:

• Hands-on experience with modern Java versions
• Deep understanding of Spring ecosystem and annotations - Spring Boot (2.7 to latest)
• Proven experience designing scalable, decoupled systems - Microservices Architecture
• Design, implementation, and documentation of APIs - RESTful APIs
• Branching, merging, rebasing, and conflict resolution - Git
• Enforcing standards and architectural consistency - Code Reviews & Technical Guidance

1. 5 years of experience in:

• Experience with asynchronous messaging and stream processing - Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka)
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native development and deployment - AWS / Azure / Google Cloud
• API lifecycle management, security, throttling, analytics - Apigee / AWS API Gateway / Azure API Mgmt
• CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance - Jenkins / GitLab CI / Bamboo
• Containerization and orchestration in production environments - Docker / Kubernetes
• Repository management, pull requests, workflows - GitHub / GitLab
• Unit testing, mocking, test coverage, TDD/BDD practices - JUnit / TestNG / Mockito
• Use in caching and flexible data models - SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL); NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
• Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning - Scrum / Kanban / SAFe
• Requirement tracking, documentation, and team collaboration - Jira / Confluence
• Leading teams, mentoring, and performance reviews
• Translating business needs into technical solutions
• Working with cross-functional teams to define scope and deliverables
• OWASP, data protection, and compliance - Secure Coding Practices
• Profiling, load testing, and tuning distributed systems - Performance Optimization
