Zone Keeper - Inventory

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

MAJOR:

1. Supervision and Monitoring:

• Oversee activities within the designated zone, ensuring that tasks are being completed efficiently and according to safety and operational guidelines.

1. Maintenance and Cleaning

• Perform routine inspections of the area, ensuring it is well-maintained and clean. This may involve light cleaning, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring all equipment is in working order.

1. Safety Compliance

• Monitor the zone for any potential safety hazards, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and reporting any incidents or accidents immediately.

1. Resource Allocation

• Ensure that materials, tools, or equipment required for operations within the zone are available and properly utilized.

1. Coordination

• Communicate with other team members, supervisors, or departments to ensure smooth transitions and the timely completion of tasks.

1. Inventory Control

• Track and manage inventory within the zone, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and items are used appropriately.

1. Customer Service (if applicable)

• In environments such as retail or events, assist customers or clients within the zone, addressing inquiries and providing excellent customer service.

1. Reporting

• Provide regular updates or reports to supervisors or management on the status of activities within the zone.

1. Training and Support

• Assist in training new employees or workers within the zone, providing guidance on operational standards, equipment usage, and safety protocols.

1. Support in ensuring that the Quality Management System requirements are being followed and complied.

MINOR:

1. Ensure the conformity of products received and delivered.
2. Keep a record of sales and restock.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Years of Experience: At least one (1) year of previous experience in a similar role or industry is often preferred, though not always required

Knowledge & Skills:

• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to handle maintenance and minor repairs (depending on the zone)
• Familiarity with safety protocols
