Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Big Bike Manager to lead and oversee operations related to Yamaha’s Big Bike category. This role encompasses sales, branding, marketing, dealer coordination, branch performance, and manpower management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales and marketing, with a passion for motorcycles and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Industry Analysis
  • Monitor market conditions including growth, trends, threats, and opportunities.
  • Analyze Yamaha’s market position and competitor performance.
  • Evaluate volume and market share, and recommend strategic actions to address challenges.
Product Management
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all product categories and SKUs.
  • Track and report model updates including color, graphics, features, and technology.
  • Analyze customer profiles for newly launched models and assess alignment with target demographics.
  • Evaluate color demand and provide feedback to the corporate planning team.
Network & Distribution
  • Develop network placement strategies for Big Bike products across Revzone and Yzone branches.
  • Implement zoning strategies for Big Bike models.
  • Assess market share and dealer network size per area to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Recommend efficient distribution plans and sales forecasts based on product demand and stock availability.
Promotion & Pricing
  • Formulate pricing strategies based on perceived customer value.
  • Design and execute trade marketing strategies tailored to local dealer needs.
  • Recommend and manage dealer-related marketing activities to boost local presence and sales.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on national and branch-level promotions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of promotional campaigns on sales.
  • Support execution of trade campaigns and national promotions across dealer branches.
Brand & Category Management
  • Develop and implement innovative marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Work with the marketing team to create localized model campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare post-campaign analysis reports to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Multimedia Arts, or related field. Elective coursework in Psychology or Customer Insights is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, brand management, and event planning.
  • Background in trade marketing and consumer behavior analysis.
  • Passion for and technical understanding of Big Bike models.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
