FOOD Machine Operator: sets up, operates, and maintains production machinery (mixers, cookers, packaging lines) to produce food products, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. They troubleshoot equipment, monitor controls, maintain a clean environment, and often lift heavy materials, requiring strong attention to detail and adherence to sanitation regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor machines (e.g., fillers, conveyors, kettles) to produce or pack food products.Quality Control: Monitor gauges and product consistency to ensure products meet specifications.Sanitation: Clean and sterilize equipment, often using cleaning solutions, to meet food safety standards.Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.Documentation: Record production data, such as temperatures, ingredient measurements, and downtime.

Job Requirements & QualificationsEducation:
High school diploma or equivalent is usually required.Experience:
Previous manufacturing or food production experience is often preferred.
Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic mechanical troubleshooting, teamwork, and ability to follow safety/sanitation protocols (SOPs).Work Environment
