Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Salesforce or other relevant technology certifications

• At least 4 years of Salesforce development experience
• Proven hands-on experience developing custom Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, Process Builder, and other Salesforce declarative tools
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, data modeling, security, integrations, data migration, and ETL processes
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce deployment practices, and secure software development principles

• In-depth understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities
• Practical knowledge of Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Nonprofit Cloud features, including donor management, household management, affiliations, and nonprofit reporting, is highly desirable

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies

• Experience working in nonprofit or purpose-driven organizations
• Experience working in Christian nonprofit (NFP) environments

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce platform tools
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce applications

• Configure and enhance Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) functionality, including donor and household management
• Customize Salesforce objects and business processes to support nonprofit operations

• Develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems
• Build automation using declarative and programmatic solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions
• Conduct code reviews, develop unit tests, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain technical documentation

• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, Nonprofit Cloud features, and industry best practices
• Improve development processes and enhance solution quality

• Demonstrate and uphold organizational values
• Participate in corporate and individual prayer and worship activities, where encouraged
• Perform other duties aligned with the role, as required
