Clear is looking for an Afterhours Consultant to join our client's team, an Australia-based recruitment firm on a full-time, fixed-term role for 3 months.
Role and Opportunity
This would be ideal for someone who is ready to launch their professional career and gain real-world experience in a dynamic environment. You'll serve as an extension of the client's onshore recruitment team handling afterhours calls, updating rosters and supporting the team.
Purpose
As an Afterhours Consultant, you will:
- Answering and making calls, and responding to emails on behalf of the client
- Support consultants by updating rosters, coordinating with candidates, and completing admin tasks
- Gain hands-on experience in client coordination, data accuracy, and workforce scheduling
Your daily tasks may include:
- Responding to job orders, shift updates, or candidate replacement requests
- Contacting candidates to confirm attendance or shift availability
- Cancelling and reassigning bookings as instructed
- Updating placements and internal records through the client’s database
- Assisting with basic recruitment admin tasks such as screening resumes and conducting reference checks
- Collaborating with the offshore and onshore team to ensure full coverage during critical hours
- Completing other assigned tasks related to recruitment support
- You are someone who speaks and writes English clearly, confidently, and professionally
- You are someone who can stay calm, composed, and polite while handling calls every now and then
- You are someone who can work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- You are someone who is eager to learn and can follow clear instructions and procedures
- You are someone who is dependable and can work during weekends
- You have a positive attitude and a strong desire to grow professionally
- Fresh graduate with strong communication and admin skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365 (especially Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Able to multitask effectively between calls, emails and system updates
- Willing to work on a full-time fixed schedule across nights, weekends, holidays as stated in the schedule above
