Procurement Staff/Purchasing Staff

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and purchase local materials, supplies, and services based on approved requests
  • Conduct price canvassing and negotiate with local suppliers
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and related documentation
  • Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules and order status
  • Ensure accuracy of quantities, specifications, and pricing
  • Monitor deliveries and resolve discrepancies or delays
  • Maintain updated supplier lists and purchasing records
  • Coordinate closely with warehouse, accounting, and requesting departments
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and policies
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related course
  • With experience in local purchasing or procurement (preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Familiar with local suppliers and market sourcing
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic purchasing systems
  • Willing to be deployed under agency for 1 year and with possibility of absorption
