Business Analyst – ERP Finance & Accounting

1. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather finance and accounting system requirements
• Analyze current accounting processes and identify automation opportunities
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria
• Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements

1. ERP Finance & Accounting Module Design

Lead functional design of ERP Finance modules including:

• General Ledger (GL), AP, AR, Cash Management
• Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries, Financial Reporting
• Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Multi-company & Multi-currency accounting
• Ensure alignment with Philippine tax and regulatory requirements (BIR, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.)
• Support integration with Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Payroll, and other ERP modules

1. Functional Documentation

Prepare and maintain key documentation such as:

• Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
• Process Flows and Use Cases
• UAT and Acceptance Criteria

1. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Developers, QA, UI/UX, and Project Managers
• Facilitate requirement workshops and solution discussions
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications

1. Testing & Implementation Support

• Define test scenarios and support UAT and system testing
• Validate financial workflows and system outputs (e.g., reconciliation, reporting)
• Support ERP implementation and ongoing enhancements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• At least 3 years of experience in ERP Finance or Accounting Systems
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance operations
• Experience in ERP implementation or software development projects
• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Detail-oriented with strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities
