Manage all aspects of IT within the region. Develop and maintain the IT department’s strategic road map, ensuring that information technology capabilities continually support the overall business’s goals and objectives. Ratify and implements IT policies, best practices, and processes as per country legal standards.
Maintain the operational integrity of technologies and services provided.
Lead and manage the technology teams including outsource partners.
Prepare and manage technology budgets and schedules.
Report on IT operations status on a regular basis by specifying constraints and recommended solutions.
Support production applications, servers, and networks by responding to incidents, restoring service as quickly as possible, and investigating root causes for outages and maintaining incident logs.
Assume responsibility for oversight of the entire network and system infrastructure ensuring proper configuration, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of security firewalls, sites/software, servers, data and file encryption, and internet connections.
- Be responsible for end-to-end IT asset management.
- Take on the responsibility for team management and accountability for all IT issues in the region.
- Lead technical team members in relation to deliverables.
- Ensure representation of Regional BiTS in the Central BiTS forums.
- Ensure representation to internal and external audits.
- Ensure adherence to common processes around asset management, network security, physical security, end point security.
- Manage upgrades and technology refreshes.
- Deal with all IT vendor and contract issues along with CPO. Renewal of all contracts well before expiry by working with CPO.
- Bachelor of Commerce
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in IT operations
- Excellent understanding of IT service management, end user assets, office IT infrastructure
