  • Collaborating with the marketing manager or director to develop marketing communication strategies and campaigns that align with the hotel's overall marketing objectives and target audience.
  • Supervising and providing guidance to the marketing communications team, assigning tasks, setting goals, and ensuring the team's productivity and effectiveness.
  • Overseeing the development and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, website content, social media posts, press releases, and advertisements to ensure consistent messaging and brand identity.
  • Managing the hotel's online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and review sites. Monitoring and responding to online reviews and engaging with guests and followers to enhance the hotel's online reputation.
  • Coordinating advertising campaigns and promotional activities, including print and digital advertisements, email marketing campaigns, special promotions, and collaborations with partners or influencers.
  • Managing public relations efforts by developing relations with media outlets, writing press releases, organizing press events, and responding to media inquiries to generate positive media coverage for the hotel.
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, target new customer segments, and stay updated on industry developments. Analyzing marketing data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Assisting in the development and management of the marketing communications budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  • Work closely with other sections within the Sales & Marketing Department, such as sales, revenue management, and other departments such as operations, to align marketing communication efforts with overall hotel objectives and support their initiatives.
  • Ensures that all marketing communication materials and activities adhere to the hotel's brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities to the marketing communications team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Monitor and evaluate the success of marketing communication initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and preparing reports to present to management.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Has a passion for Sales and Marketing
  • Advanced Microsoft user
  • Advanced Macintosh user
  • Has knowledge of graphics and digital design.
  • Thinks outside of the box whilst leading change in the hotel
  • Enjoys being creative
  • Loves to be creative with an eye for detail
  • Has a good understanding of business communications
  • Aware and proficient with communications technologies
  • Preferably with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or any related business course.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English)
