Job Qualifications

Work Experience : At least 1 year experience specializing in service advisor or parts advisor

Required Skills :

• Expert in Automotive Industry
• Strong organizational, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
• knowledge of proper safety precautions in the service area
• Computer literate
• Organizational skills including the ability to schedule appointments, meet with customers and ensure that work is done properly
• Good with numbers
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

1. Communicates with clients about unit problems, insurance questions, and warranty issues
2. Maintains positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat and return customers
3. Approaches transactions with sales-minded professionalism and suggestively sell products and services to clients, including making clients aware of all packages and retail options available
4. Answers customer questions about services, including when to expect unit repairs
5. Displays extensive knowledge about products and services
6. Ensures customer vehicle is finished on time and details for customer services rendered and costs for those services, ensuring satisfaction at every step of interaction
7. Uses all methods of customer communication, including phone calls, and in-person interactions, to schedule and book appointments, unit drop-offs, and unit pick-ups
8. Communicates with technicians about unit statuses, and ensures that unit will be ready for customer on time
9. Acts as an advocate for clients when communicating vehicle problems and needs to repair department
10. Liaises with technicians about parts ordering to ensure requisite parts are available when unit repairs require them, and communicates any time restrictions to customers in timely manner
11. Processes customer payments
12. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of service department
