WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Supply Chain Assistant who will support the efficient planning and organization of goods distribution by monitoring stock levels, managing delivery schedules, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth coordination with suppliers and internal departments.In this role, you will also perform essential administrative and clerical tasks to help maintain the smooth and efficient operation of supply chain processes at Alfamart Trading Philippines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare service level reports for all suppliers, tracking performance and delivery efficiency.
- Create Out of Stock (OOS) reports, providing information and updates for the merchandising team.
- Draft and prepare POs for posting on the portal.
- Update display file master settings for new items in the Distribution Control System (DCS).
- Regularly review emails for updates, issues, and concerns from suppliers, merchandising, and other internal departments.
- Prepare investigation letters for issues such as PO deletion, extension, or incorrect Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Conduct stock analysis for expired POs delivered by suppliers, providing a basis for acceptance or rejection by the Supply Chain Department.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 6 months of experience in supply chain or logistics roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to prepare detailed reports.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and documentation.
- Proficient in using spreadsheets, databases, and supply chain management systems.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and stock analysis.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
