JOB SUMMARY

The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strong client satisfaction. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and direct management of teachers to meet client expectations, optimize operational performance, and drive account growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Client & Revenue Growth: Drive client satisfaction, retention, and exceed revenue/gross margin targets by building strong partnerships and identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure high lesson fulfillment and optimal teacher utilization. Oversee daily account operations and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Teacher Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and coach a high-quality team of online teachers, focusing on elevating performance and retention through effective observation and feedback.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain consistent lesson quality scores by monitoring key metrics and implementing data-driven improvement initiatives.
  • Data & Reporting: Provide clear, insightful reports to clients and leadership, leveraging analytics to drive strategic decisions and account improvements.
  • Scalability & Project Management: Successfully scale teacher headcount and service delivery to support client growth and lead new project ramp-ups.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a leadership, mentoring, training, or supervisory role for online teachers, specifically driving team performance.
  • Skilled in lesson observation, feedback, and coaching.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in lesson observation, providing actionable feedback, and coaching online educators to enhance delivery and quality.
  • Proven success in leading teams and consistently achieving performance goals within a service-driven environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; strong interpersonal, leadership, and coaching abilities to foster positive team and client relationships.
  • Highly organized with robust analytical capabilities and sound decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace), spreadsheets, and performance management systems.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and ESL industry standards is a significant advantage.
WORK SET-UP AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Schedule: May require flexible hours, but with a focus on mid-shift (start of shift at 12NN or 1PM)
  • Workdays: Five-day workweek with two rest days.
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Device: Desktop/laptop with Intel i5 (10th gen) /Ryzen 5/M1 and 8GB RAM or higher
  • Internet Connection: Minimum 25 Mbps internet speed with backup connection
  • Alternative power source: Backup power supply for at least 8 hours
