Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Technology Support Engineer to join our growing technology operations team. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Software-Defined Networking (SDN), with strong expertise in Cisco ACI and enterprise-level network infrastructure.

This role involves both support and implementation, addressing critical system escalations and driving deployment projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), leading the technical delivery of high-impact projects.
  • Design, configure, and implement Software-Defined Network environments, focusing on Cisco ACI.
  • Coordinate and execute software upgrades and preventative maintenance for enterprise networking equipment.
  • Conduct seamless migrations from traditional infrastructure to modern ACI-based networks with minimal business disruption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related incidents, collaborating with support vendors and internal teams.
  • Develop architectural documentation including high- and low-level designs, testing frameworks, and use cases.
  • Provide technical oversight and act as the escalation point for high-severity issues, including out-of-hours support when required.
  • Support presales activities, translating client goals into feasible network solutions.
  • Evaluate existing environments and deliver technical assessments and improvement plans.
  • Remain up-to-date with evolving network trends and technologies to continuously improve the organization's infrastructure approach.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network environments with a specialization in Cisco ACI.
  • Strong working knowledge of Cisco operating systems: IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and NX-OS.
  • Proficient in diagnosing complex issues within data center and enterprise networks.
  • Experience with the deployment and support of Cisco network hardware including Nexus, ASR, and Catalyst devices.
  • Cisco certification such as CCNP Data Center or DevNet credentials is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, RedHat) and other data center technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
