Job Summary:

The Sales Associate will support the sales team in various administrative and customer service tasks to ensure smooth operations within the sales department. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals seeking to gain experience in sales and customer service within the glass and aluminum industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Assist customers by answering queries, providing product information, and addressing basic concerns.
• Sales Support: Support the sales team with daily activities, including processing orders, preparing quotes, and following up with customers.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing sales documents.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, preparing stock reports, and coordinating with the warehouse team for order fulfillment.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a basic understanding of glass and aluminum products to assist in responding to customer inquiries.
• Order Processing: Help process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Communication: Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications, directing inquiries to the appropriate sales team members as needed.
• Support Sales Initiatives: Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, promotional materials, and other sales initiatives.
• Event Assistance: Support the coordination and logistics of trade shows, customer meetings, and other sales events.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role is beneficial but not required.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
