Community Relations Head

About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing community engagement strategies, managing partnerships, and representing the organization in public-facing initiatives. You will play a key role in strengthening our reputation, addressing community concerns, and driving impactful outreach programs.
What you'll be doing- Lead engagement with host communities, Indigenous Peoples (IPs), Local Government Units (LGUs), NGOs, and other stakeholders
- Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external stakeholders
- Design and implement sustainable community development programs
- Ensure compliance with social and community-related regulatory requirements
- Support permitting processes, including consultations and public hearings
- Manage community concerns, complaints, and grievances
- Lead and mentor the Community Relations team
- Manage budgets, resources, and project timelines
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of activities
- Track effectiveness of community programs and engagement strategies
- Prepare reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations or Social Work is an advantage
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Mining, Power or Construction Industry
- Establishment of a good business relationship in the BLGU's, LGU's and other government agencies.
