What will you do?
The Senior Workday Integrations Specialist ensures seamless integration of Workday with other systems, supporting business processes, enhancing efficiency, and maintaining data accuracy. They develop, and troubleshoot integrations, collaborate with teams to meet business needs, and stay updated with the latest Workday tools and updates.

This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of Aurecon’s People and Finance systems.

Qualifications
  • 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing Workday integrations, including developing and deploying integration solutions using Workday tools and technologies.
  • Certification in Workday Integrations is desired
  • Strong experience participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
  • Experience in Global Shared Services set up is desired Key challenges and complexities of the role Key relationships Internal / external Integration squads Enterprise Apps squads (Workday, Dynamics365, etc) Shared Services Team, IT Business Partners, Program Managers, Solutions Architects
  • Works under broad direction and is often self-initiated

  • Maintains a high level of customer service measured through benchmarked customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain complex integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and other tools.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure integration solutions meet business needs.
  • Identify and resolve integration issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
  • Continuously seek and implement improvements in integration processes and performance.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects and Integration Analysts to translate functional and non-functional requirements into high quality user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure they can be effectively developed and tested.
  • Keep up with Workday updates and assess their impact on existing integrations
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Ensure that individual and team KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
  • Anticipate hurdles and have contingency plans to circumvent them.
Technological Leadership
  • Contribute to the skills uplift across the product squad through knowledge sharing and coaching.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and maturity of delivery and support processes.
  • Take ownership to evaluate technical requirements and advise on solutions and alternatives to meet business needs.
  • Contribute to ensure that the integration product is properly managed and fit for purpose.
  • Exhibit the depth and breadth of product knowledge through the impact of the solutions we deploy.
Stakeholder Management
  • Engage with the business and IT stakeholders to address complex business problems through application solutions.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication of technical solutions to both technical and nontechnical audience.
