Job Description
As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning accurate diagnostic and procedural codes for patient services. Your role ensures compliance with official coding guidelines and regulations. Attention to detail is essential to accurately translate medical procedures, diagnoses, and treatments into standardized codes.Your work will support healthcare providers in billing, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications- Inpatient Coding Certification: CPC, CIC, CCA, CCS-P, or CCS
- Proficient in ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Inpatient Medical Coder
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Records or any medical allied field
- Proficient in computer applications
- Advanced understanding of automated encoder systems
- Willing to work a day shift schedule (subject to change based on business needs)
- Work-from-home setup, but must be willing to work onsite in Pasig City if required by the company
