About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join Global Comfort Group Corporation on a contract basis. This role is based in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila and offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge electrical and electronic systems.As an Electronics Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment and systems that are fundamental to our operations. This position is essential to ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our technical infrastructure whilst supporting our commitment to delivering quality comfort solutions to our customers.
Key responsibilities- Install, test, and commission electronic equipment and systems in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Perform preventative maintenance on electronic systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Repair and replace faulty electronic components, circuit boards and other hardware as required
- Document all maintenance, repair and installation activities in maintenance logs and technical reports
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex technical issues
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies during all work activities
- Assist in the training and guidance of junior technical staff as required
- Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or in a similar technical role within the electrical and electronic engineering field
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, electronic components, and digital systems
- Proficiency with testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analysers
- Solid understanding of technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience with soldering, de-soldering and circuit board repair techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electronics or electrical engineering preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance with industry regulations
- Good communication skills and the ability to document work clearly and accurately
