Assistant warehouse manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising daily warehouse activities.
• Ensure proper receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch of materials and products.
• Monitor warehouse space utilization and maintain an organized storage system.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding inventory requirements and deliveries.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation of all warehouse transactions.

• Supervise warehouse personnel and monitor work performance.
• Assign tasks and ensure timely completion of warehouse activities.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to warehouse staff.
• Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and warehouse regulations.
• Monitor housekeeping and cleanliness within the warehouse.
• Report safety hazards, incidents, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in safety inspections and corrective actions.

• Prepare and submit warehouse operational reports as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, deliveries, and stock transfers.
• Assist in analyzing warehouse performance and recommending improvements.

• Act as Officer-in-Charge (OIC) in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
