Registered Midwife
About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Registered Midwife to join our compassionate team at 1421 MEDICAL SERVICES in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Registered Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum journey.
What you'll be doing- Conducting PAP SMEAR examinations
- Providing guidance, education, and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the pregnancy and birthing process
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
- Participating in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest midwifery practices and techniques
- Assisting patients and relatives upon arrival, making them comfortable, taking important vital signs and assisting patients with forms and information.
- Assisting doctors during minor o.r. procedures, preparing needed instruments and attending to patients' needs before, during and after the procedure until discharge.
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments for patients, answering and directing incoming phonecalls and emails
- Maintaining inventory of medical supplies and placing orders as needed
- Providing general administrative support to the medical team as required
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
- At least 1 year of experience working as a medical secretary or in a similar administrative role within the healthcare industry
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build trust with patients and their families
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and documentation
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
