Position Summary: The Business Process Automation Specialist is a key player in the company's digital transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and automating business processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and free up human resources for more strategic tasks.
The ideal candidate has a blend of business acumen and technical skills, with a strong focus on implementing automation solutions, including those powered by AI and machine learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Analysis & Documentation: Assist in process mapping and documentation of current workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Data-Driven Insights: Perform data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and key opportunities for automation and improvement. Prepare reports and dashboards to track process performance and KPIs.
- Automation Design & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement automation workflows using a variety of tools, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow automation platforms, and AI-driven systems.
- AI Integration: Contribute to AI/ML-related initiatives when relevant, such as predictive analytics or process optimization models, and support the integration of these models into automation workflows.
- Process Improvement Methodologies: Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other established frameworks.
- Standardization & Best Practices: Help develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices for new and existing processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional workshops to gather requirements, understand pain points, and collaborate with various business units and Subject Matter Experts.
- Digitalization Initiatives: Support broader automation or digitalization initiatives where applicable, assisting in the implementation of new tools and systems.
- Change Management: Assist in change management by communicating process updates and providing training to stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and user adoption.
- Technical Support: Leverage programming skills (Python, R, SQL, etc.) to analyze data, automate repetitive tasks, and provide technical support where needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Experience or strong understanding of process improvement frameworks and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred.
- Exposure to programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL) and an understanding of their application in data analysis and automation.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and automation concepts is highly desirable.
