Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Audit Associate (CPA) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will assist in conducting financial and operational audits, ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
This role is ideal for a Certified Public Accountant who is eager to build a strong career in audit and gain valuable experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in performing financial, operational, and compliance audits
- Examine financial statements, records, and internal controls for accuracy and completeness
- Identify risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Support the preparation of audit findings, reports, and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable regulations
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather required audit information
- Participate in follow-up audits to monitor implementation of corrective actions
- Assist in maintaining accurate and organized audit documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- At least 2 years of audit experience (internal or external audit)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards
- Knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using audit tools, accounting software, or ERP systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience handling multiple audit engagements or projects
