Accounting Assistant - Quezon City

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team at S-Mega Media corporation'. This full-time position is based in our office in Malate Manila City Metro Manila. In this role, you will provide vital support to our Accounting department, contributing to the overall financial operations of the company.

• Assisting with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
• Preparing and processing invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents
• Performing bank reconciliations and cash management duties
• Providing administrative support to the Accounting team as needed
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls
• Ensure tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory filings.
• Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.

• Relevant experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
