ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly competent Accounting Supervisor who will oversee the company's accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, taxation, permits and licenses, and other accounting-related functions while providing accurate and timely financial information to management.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department. (with 100-200 employees only)
• Handle general accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements (FS).
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with BIR and other government requirements.
• Monitor and manage taxation matters, including VAT, withholding taxes, and income tax compliance.
• Prepare schedules and reports required for internal and external audits.
• Oversee the renewal and maintenance of company permits, licenses, and registrations, including BIR, SEC/DTI, Mayor's Permit, Barangay Clearance, and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal control systems.
• Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies.
• Supervise accounting personnel and ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as may be assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), but not required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in food industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar systems).
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling confidential information.
• Experience in multi-branch operations and the Food & Beverage or Retail industry is an advantage.
• Willing to work onsite in Marikina City
• Able to work from Monday- Saturday, 9am-6pm
