Treasury Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Treasury Operations Specialist to join our team at Philequity Management, Inc. in our office at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing, settlement, and monitoring of treasury transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

1. Process and settle treasury transactions including FX, fixed income, equities, and money market instruments
2. Execute fund transfers via online banking platforms, SWIFT, and RTGS/PhilPaSS
3. Monitor daily cash flows and ensure sufficient funding for settlements
4. Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts, custodians, and internal records
5. Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies and settlement breaks
6. Prepare operational reports such as cash position, settlement status, and exception reports
7. Coordinate with traders, custodians, brokers, and counterparties for smooth transaction processing
8. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (SEC, BSP)
9. Support process improvements and automation initiatives

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
2. Preferably with 1–2 years experience in treasury, banking, or investment operations (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
3. Basic knowledge of financial instruments (FX, bonds, equities, money markets) and trade settlement processes
4. Familiarity with SWIFT, RTGS/PhilPaSS, and online banking platforms is an advantage
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills
6. High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
