Data Analyst (Finance)

• The candidate must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness. The role requires experience in data analysis and an innovative focus on developing Power Bi dashboards. This includes the analysis and review of the day-to-day service performance, as well as overall client, vendor, and departmental performance reporting.

• Support the development of new reports, typically Power Bi dashboards.
• Maintain existing Power Bi dashboards.
• Collect and extract data from the systems and organizes the data structure.
• Identify issues within the data and look for resolution
• Create solutions and automated templates using interactive techs and solution in conjunction with Advanced Excel, VBA, SQL, Power Query, PowerBI and other available technologies
• Provide requested reports with the required data elements for team and other departments on demand, in both written and verbal form
• Redevelop new reporting applications and/or enhance reports and dashboards to help operational process flow enhancement
• Ensure that all the report formats and links are kept up to date
• Create and maintain technical documentation for various systems, services and business processes including databases and reporting procedures
• Streamline manual processes and develop or implement automated procedures with free AI application.
• Adapt to changing requirements in business need and anticipate needed input and assistance by maintaining understanding of changing management objectives

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Advanced Excel, VBA, Power Query & Power BI, SQL, C++ preferred.
• Capacity to identify analytical standards/ patterns
• Able to work to tight deadlines
• Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of other ways of managing data
• Excellent task-based organisational, planning and execution skills
• Self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and organisation skills
• Must have strong technical and process improvement skills.
• Fluent in English written & spoken
• Consistent attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science or related.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• General business acumen, including reporting and analysis, presentation skills, and organizational abilities.
• Up-to-date knowledge on product trends, techniques and technologies
• Ability to exercise independent judgment discretion
