Business Analyst - WFH

Job Profile Summary:

The Business Analyst will review and analyze key business metrics to devise plans for improvement, communicating these findings and plans to key stakeholders in the organization.

Job Description:

The Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing business operations, assess evolving business ideas, liaise between groups and departments and communicating recommendations for improving business operations.

Essential Job Functions may include:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.
• Conduct research to support business development and strategic planning initiatives.
• Maintain and update data records, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Support the team in ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance analytical approaches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. College-level applicants may also be considered.
• 3y+ experience in managing analytics, reporting and forecasting requests.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with cross-functional teams, gather requirements and build complex analyses and models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).
• Experience with SQL for data querying.
• Experience in statistical tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Jira reporting and project management a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Amenable to work on a graveyard shift
