Senior Buyer - Importation

• Professional Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in procurement or purchasing, with at least 2 years focused on importation
• Proven experience in international sourcing, customs documentation, and logistics coordination

Core Skills and Competencies:

• Importation : Familiar with Incoterms, customs regulations and Import documentation
• Negotiation & supplier management: Ability to secure favorable terms and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Analytical skills: Proficiency in cost analysis, forecasting, and market trend evaluation
• ERP proficiency: Experience with systems like SAP for procurement and inventory tracking
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for cross-border coordination and stakeholder engagement
• Compliance awareness: Understanding of trade laws, import/export restrictions, and risk mitigation

IMPORTED RAW MATERIALS:

• Focuses on import permit management, contract review, insurance processing, and shipment monitoring.
• Monitor Coverage Report -Importation
• Review Contracts for signature of Purchasing Manager and CEO.
• Gather documents from Suppliers and apply for import permit.
• Monitor Intercommerce dashboard and download approved permits.
• Monitor Shipments. Updates the RM Importation Monitoring.
• Apply for Marine Insurance (for CFR contracts).
• Coordinates with Broker on the releasing and delivery status.

LOCAL RAW MATERIALS:

• Focuses on strategic sourcing and supervision.
• Supervise in the sourcing of Raw Materials.
• Coverage report - Local
• Monitor Agrilife Purchases.
• Monitor Eurolab Purchases.(Including creation of Purchase Orders)
