Paid Media Specialist – Digital Marketing
We’re looking for a Paid Media Specialist to lead the execution, optimization, and performance management of full-funnel paid media campaigns, with a strong focus on SEM strategy and operations.
This role owns campaign setup, trafficking, and in-flight optimization while contributing to tactical planning, measurement frameworks, and cross-functional execution. Acting as a key partner to analytics, creative, and marketing operations teams, this position ensures campaigns are launched accurately, optimized continuously, and measured effectively to drive business growth.
Key responsibilities of this role include . . .- SEM Strategy & Tactical Planning
- Partner with the team to develop SEM tactical plans aligned to campaign goals and business objectives
- Contribute to measurement plans, defining KPIs, benchmarks, and success criteria for SEM campaigns
- Support keyword strategy, audience targeting, and channel planning
- Campaign Setup, Trafficking & Launch (Primary Accountability)
- Own end-to-end SEM campaign setup and launch, ensuring accuracy and readiness
- Work cross-functionally to gather creative assets, landing pages, and tracking requirements
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of trafficking sheets and campaign documentation
- Deliver post-launch campaign screenshots and validation outputs
- Campaign Optimization & Performance Management
- Recommend and execute in-flight SEM optimizations, including bid adjustments, budget reallocations, and keyword refinement
- Monitor performance against KPIs and proactively identify optimization opportunities
- Improve campaign efficiency across key metrics (CPA, CTR, CVR, ROAS)
- Budget Management & Pacing
- Own and maintain budget pacing documents/templates across channels
- Monitor spend and pacing to ensure alignment with campaign goals and forecasts
- Recommend budget shifts based on performance and optimization insights
- Creative & Tagging Collaboration
- Partner cross-functionally with creative and marketing operations teams to ensure assets and tagging align with channel best practices
- Provide input on ad copy, creative variations, and landing page alignment
- Ensure campaigns are properly tagged and structured for accurate measurement
- Analytics, Reporting & Insights
- Contribute to SEM reporting and ad hoc analysis, including channel deep dives and performance insights
- Support development of channel POVs and strategic recommendations
- Deliver insights for executive dashboards and performance reviews
- Data Quality & QA
- Perform QA on SEM reporting data, ensuring accuracy across dashboards and reports
- Validate tracking, campaign setup, and performance data across platforms
- Ensure consistency between platform data, analytics tools, and reporting outputs
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with analytics, creative, SEO, and marketing operations teams
- Align campaign execution with broader marketing strategy and measurement frameworks
- Support integrated search strategies across paid and organic channels
Qualifications/Requirements
This job is perfect for you if you have . . .- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or related field
- 2–5+ years of SEM/PPC campaign management experience
- Proficient in Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager
- Strong knowledge of keyword research, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and conversion tracking
- Experience with campaign setup, optimization, budget management, and performance reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- SEM certifications and SEO knowledge are a plus
