The Role: Services Quotation Engineer - Power Systems & Secure Power
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join the team as a Services Quotation Engineer in our Cavite office.
You will be responsible for the preparation of quotations and tender submissions covering the full range of Field Services activities, such as installation/testing, contracts, upgrades/re-engineering, retrofit solutions, modernization, and digital services.Your focus will be on Power Systems services like the MV/LV electrical distribution equipment & specifically Secure Power services like UPS and Cooling.
What will you do?- Review customer RFQs, specifications, and tender specifications for Field Service activities
- Identify cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs and technical requirements (both explicit and implied)
- Collaborate with local and overseas internal stakeholders, plus customer interaction - as required
- Prepare costing sheets to show the cost and margin of offers, ensuring minimum margin levels are achieved, whilst respecting market price levels
- Prepare high-quality quotations that define the technical solution proposed, whilst mitigating technical and commercial risks
- Process handover and booking of Orders.
Qualifications
Who would be successful?- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Previous experience in the supply, installation, and site testing of UPS systems like 1 Phase unit SmartUPS and 3 Phase unit Galaxy/Symmetra/Easy UPS products & Power Systems services like the MV/LV electrical distribution equipment.
- Proficient in low and medium-voltage equipment, design, installation, and use.
- Previous experience in submission of tenders and preparing quotations
- Previous experience in Data Center and Electrical Facilities, is a plus
- The ability to read and interpret UPS and Electrical equipment technical specifications, commercial and contract conditions, and single-line drawings
