QA Engineer

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer who’s passionate about delivering reliable, secure, and user-centered products. In this role, you’ll help ensure that every feature we release meets the highest standards—through thoughtful testing, collaboration with our product and engineering teams, and a commitment to safeguarding the experience of every Kindred user.

• Analyze customer requirements and product specifications to ensure software meets business and user needs.
• Develop and execute comprehensive software testing processes to identify and address defects.
• Perform thorough manual testing to verify that the product meets desired standards and requirements.
• Conduct rigorous security testing to protect the product against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Write detailed and clear bug reports to document issues that need resolution.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure all identified issues are resolved.
• Document the entire QA process, including test cases, scripts, and release notes for future reference.
• Keep stakeholders informed about the product’s progress, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Ensure that the product team meets all project deadlines without compromising quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience on a QA team.
• Experience with various testing methodologies, including unit, integration, system, and regression tests.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Ruby.
• Experience with test case management tools like Jira and Bugzilla.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Azure DevOps, and Kanban boards.
• Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
• Knowledge of debugging techniques, including tracing and code inspection.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C++, and Python.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL.
