Software Engineer (AI)

We are looking for a Software Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of modern software applications and AI-enabled solutions.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Python development, APIs, cloud platforms, and collaborative software engineering practices. Exposure to AI/Generative AI technologies and cloud-native development is highly valued.
This role is suited for engineers with foundational to intermediate experience who are eager to grow in backend engineering, AI integration, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and enhance scalable backend applications and API services using Python
- Develop and integrate AI/GenAI-enabled capabilities into enterprise applications and workflows
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and manage structured/unstructured JSON data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based solutions (Azure and/or AWS)
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical solutioning
- Implement secure, reliable, and maintainable software engineering practices
- Support deployment automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and engineering standards
- Mentor junior engineers and support team on knowledge sharing
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, especially in AI/GenAI and cloud engineering
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Software Engineer I: 1–2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent practical experience)
- Software Engineer II: 3–5 years of software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python development
- Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and JSON-based integrations
- Hands-on exposure to AI and Generative AI technologies or integrations
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
- Proficiency in GitHub, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
