Role Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Collection Manager to lead our large-scale local collection team. The primary focus of this role is Operational Excellence and Team Management. You will be responsible for translating the company’s collection strategies into high-impact execution.

We are looking for a "disciplinarian" leader who can ensure 100% adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), drive team productivity, and maintain rigorous performance standards across all collection buckets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full-Scale Team Management: Oversee the daily operations of the collection center, including shift management, floor discipline, and adherence to call flows. Ensure that every collector executes the assigned tasks with precision and consistency.
  • Performance & KPI Driving: Establish and enforce daily/weekly KPIs for Team Leads (TLs) and Collectors. Conduct daily performance reviews to identify execution gaps and implement immediate corrective actions, such as coaching, retraining, or performance-based exits.
  • Process Monitoring & Quality Control: Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to monitor collection calls and activities. Ensure the team maintains high recovery pressure while strictly complying with Philippine regulatory requirements (BSP and NPC) to protect the company's reputation.
  • Talent Pipeline & Leadership: Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of local collection talent. Mentor and develop the next layer of local leadership (Team Leads and Supervisors) to build a stable and loyal core management team.
  • Execution Feedback & Coordination: Maintain seamless communication with the Head of Collection. Provide transparent reporting on ground-level execution challenges and rapidly adapt team activities based on management's directives.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience (Mandatory): Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the Device Financing or Consumer Finance industry in the Philippines (e.g., Home Credit, PayJoy, Skyro, Salmon, BillEase, etc.).
  • Proven Management Track Record: Extensive experience managing large teams (100+ headcounts). You must demonstrate the ability to handle large-scale operations, manage attrition, and maintain high team morale under pressure.
  • Strong Execution Mindset: A result-oriented leader with a "get-things-done" attitude. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment where strict discipline and process adherence are non-negotiable.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) and NPC (National Privacy Commission) guidelines regarding fair debt collection practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present clear operational reports and data-driven insights to senior management.
